There was excellent weather every day except on the morning of the Canonization of Marie Eugenie!  In fact, the Celebration opened with a torrential rain that did not abate the whole morning... But Sr. Martine had the final word - the heavens cried tears of joy!  An tempered character...a soaked canonization!

Or again: a rainy canonization, numerous vocations!

There! The wagers are open...  It's up to you to discover your own explanation or your own slogan.  Everything is grace...

So, under torrential rain, Marie Eugenie was declared a Saint among the Saints in heaven.  We we keep in our hearts the call to holiness made also to us. 

The feast continued first with a meeting of all the Sisters with the General Council and then, in the evening, with a spectacular presentation prepared by all the youth of all the Provinces and coordinated by the Philippines.  Songs, dances, corporal expressions, power points...a whole program for a mutual discovery of the different cultures, different ways of claiming for oneself the message and the heritage of Marie Eugenie.  The youth heard it and said that they are the Assumption of tomorrow, the ones who will relay all the values received to a generation to come. 

Monday was the last thanksgiving Mass together at St. Peter's presided by Monseigneur Vingt-Trois, Archbishop of Paris.  Then the delegations began to disperse... But the adventure is just beginning.  Marie Eugenie was declared a Saint for the whole Church and she will be a model for all those who, following the footsteps of Christ, will be attracted by her grace and the charism that she has given as heritage to the Congregation of the Religious of the Assumption.
